Mountain Rose Centre

On Friday May 12, Crystal Clark and Tammy Bradshaw from West Central High School stopped by the shelter to make a donation on behalf of the Indigenous Leadership Club, Indigenous Studies group and Ms. Stang's Grade 9 students.

These students beaded Red Dress pins and offered them to teachers and administration for a donation to support raising awareness of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and 2SLGBTQQIA people.

They raised $580 to donate to the Mountain Rose Centre as the Centre helps Indigenous women and families fleeing violence.

The pins were then worn when they attended the Asokewin Red Dress day walk on May 5th
